Responsible Living

Responsibility is the ability to respond to the God in you. The God in you is the living universal principles of life that exists in all things that are made, and without Him nothing exits. God dwells in you. He is installed in your being.

It is similar in concept to a multipurpose application suite being installed on your computer. This kind of program will give you the potential and powers to perform many tasks and create many things. It does not automatically do these things.  God is not like a genie. You don’t just sit back and bark out orders to Him. But rather, you learn to use the power of the principles that live and reside in you, and acting on or applying the appropriate principles to the work or task you desire to produce.

You have to learn and understand how the program work, then work the program.  You can potentially create anything you can imagine within the capabilities of the program. God is unlimited. Therefore, if God is in us, then we potentially are unlimited. We are capable of doing all things through applying the principles of God, which is Christ in you.

YOU CHOSE THE LIFE YOU ARE LIVING

In general terms, the decisions you made in the past as well as some you didn’t make, have created the realities of your present. (Think about that a moment)

In essence, your past decisions are the seeds that you sowed into your life. The results of those decisions are the things that are present in your life.  Your life becomes what you created it to be. You are the creator. God is in you. He has given you life, a body, a spirit, a mind, and a soul. What you do with that is your choice. If you make good choices, you will have good results. Conversely, if you make bad choices, you will produce bad or unfavorable results. Nevertheless, it is your choice.

GOD’S HELP MENU

God is available to us. We are not totally on our own. In God’s program, there is a help menu. This is what prayer is about. You can query the knowledge base of God. If you need help,  ASK God. Prayer is like Goggling God or going to the help menu. Ask…Seek…Knock.

Asking is inquiring, petitioning, questioning somebody or making a request.

Seeking is to search, look or strive for something, attempt to do something or pursue after something.

Knocking implies hitting or striking repeatedly. It is persistent investigating.

When you want or need something, that is not readily or consciously available to you, you may need to inquire or request it. Sometimes when you ask for something, the answer or thing desired is not promptly made available to you. It may require you to seek it. Sometimes when you seek something, you find multiple options. Those options may need to be explored and examined to determine which option is best suited. If that option or door is not readily open, you must persistently knock on it or keep at it until the door or opportunity opens to you.

Now when you have attained the answer or information needed to perform the task at hand, you must apply the information to the doing of the work. Many times, especially in the religious community, people tend to want to live in Miracle Land. They want to be able to make everything happen by osmosis or a snap of the finger or some great oratorical utterance.

Contrary to popular beliefs, that’s not how it works in the real world. The real world works by cause and effect. FAITH, is believing in the thing that CAUSES the EFFECT. The thing that causes the effect is the application of the associated principles of God. But if you believe and understand how to apply the principle, then that is what has to happen. INFORMATION without APPLICATION produces no MANIFESTATION. In essence, FAITH without WORK is dead… fruitless. You must apply the knowledge. The applied principle will CAUSE the DESIRED EFFECT to be produced. Some say KNOWLEDGE is POWER. But in reality, APPIED KNOWLEDGE is POWER.

PROACTIVE VS REACTIVE RESPONSE TO LIFE

You may not be able to control what life throws at you at all times, but you can control your responses to life. You may not be wholly responsible for creating the life that you now have, but you can be wholly responsible for the recreation of your life. You are either going wherever life takes you or you are taking life wherever you are going. The person who responds to life proactively is the person who has predetermined what they want to be and where they want to go in life. They have a vision of who they are and their mission and purpose in life. They map out a plan, strategies and a course of action for attaining their objectives.

The reactive person just lets life happen and go with the flow. Wherever life take them, that’s where they go. They are usually discontent and complain that life isn’t fair.  But life is fair. Moreover, we are not fair and honest with ourselves. We spend our valuable time and money making others wealthy instead of investing our resources in ourselves. Our time is our greatest asset. If we invest it wisely, along with all of our other resources, we all will be able to achieve greater accomplishments.

Life is a series of multifaceted processes. Life is engaged in the process of growth and development. Life is moving toward perfection. When we look at the advancements of technology we see that we are capable of doing greater and greater things as mankind evolves. Though mankind is evolving and advancing technologically and financially, there seems to be a moral and spiritual decline, though religiousness may be increasing. It is clear that according to the Bible, eventually, there will be a new world order and Heaven will come down to earth. The transformed earth shall be purged of all evil and everything that is offensive. The renewed planet will be far superior and more advanced than the present earth.

So we see, that God is in the process of redeeming mankind so that He can reestablish righteousness in the earth. In that process He is allowing mankind and evil to run their coarse in order to systematically separate the wheat and the tares, the righteous and the unrighteous.

Some believe there is a God and others say there is none. Some believe in Heaven & Hell and some don’t. Some believe in the after-life and others say this is it, there is no life after death. Regardless to where you stand on these issues, the fact remains that you are the author and producer of your life on earth based on your choice selections. And if there is an after-life and a Heaven and Hell, then maybe we are by our earthly choice selections, determining our next life fate also. “Think about that”
